The Dental Place is first and foremost a pediatric dental practice, specializing in the treatment of infants, young children and teenagers. Our mission is to provide the highest-quality dentistry in a comfortable, kid-friendly environment.

While we cater to all youngsters, we also have extensive experience in treating anxious children and ones with special medical conditions. Our professionals are proficient in all aspects of pediatric dentistry from restorative (fillings), to preventative (cleanings and sealants), growth and development (early orthodontic screening), oral malformations and cancer screenings, and infant oral exams.

Meet our Pediatric Dentists...

Dr. Nadia Diab-Shamari
Dr. Nadia Diab-Shamari received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Northeastern University and her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Diab-Shamari also holds a certificate of pediatric dentistry form the Medical College of Virginia, and is board certified in pediatric dentistry. She teaches and lectures locally and abroad. Dr. Diab-Shamari is the founding member of The Dental Place, and has been practicing in the Westboro area since 1996. Dr. Diab and her husband have two children.

 

Dr. Reem Antun
Dr. Reem Antun graduated from McGill University with a degree in Biology, and holds a dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. At Tufts University, Dr. Antun received numerous achievement awards for academic excellence, and following Tufts University completed a residency program in pediatric dentistry at Schneider Children’s Hospital in New York City. Dr. Antun is a native of Weston, and resides locally with her husband.
